A Brief History

 

I started my apprenticeship in 1993 with a well established Biggin Hill based plumbing company, Bushby Gas. We undertook all manner of gas, heating and plumbing work. I was involved mainly on the installation side of things and the work ranged from high end luxury houses to low cost housing association work.

 

It's always been a philosophy of mine to give the same level of care and attention to every job, no matter what the budget or size of project.

 

I stayed with that firm until 2007 when I decided to go it alone and become self-employed. I was based in Bromley and continued to do similar types of projects, mainly for local building companies.

I have now recently re-located to Westerham and I'm keen to get my company more established in the local area.

The name of the company has changed from MD Gas to Dimond Heating and Plumbing. This is due to the slight change in the type of work I do, whereas I used to do mainly gas and heating, I now find myself doing more bathroom installations and general plumbing, as well as the usual gas and heating jobs. I am qualified to work on all domestic gas appliances. My Gas Safe registration no. is 234861.

 I have worked closely with Nu-Heat for many years and I'm an approved installer of their underfloor heating, air source and ground source heating and solar thermal systems.

 Vaillant have long been my choice of boiler because of their high quality, efficiency and reliability. I am one of their approved installers and therefore get extended warranties free of charge for my clients.
